Why Bambotics exists
Bambotics is a small lab that brings science into practice. Built in public.
Small acts, giant impacts.
We’d rather do something small that matters than something big that doesn’t. One small act changes little. Many of them, added up over time, can change a lot.
That’s how Bambotics works. Instead of inventing something new, we take what’s already known in many fields of science and bring it into practice. Our projects are small. We try to make each one count.
Why a lab
A lab is a place to test ideas. Most won’t work, and finding that out early is part of the job. When something does work, we build it properly and share how we got there.
How we work
- Start with a real problem. We choose problems that matter to someone, not the ones that are fun to solve.
- Stand on the shoulders of giants. We build on what research has found, instead of reinventing the wheel.
- Make it simple. Simple is harder to make than complicated, and it’s worth it.
- Build in public. The work happens in the open. So do the mistakes.
What we avoid
- Building on hype instead of evidence
- Claims we can’t back up
- Features nobody asked for
- Keeping quiet about what didn’t work
What we embrace
- Being useful over being impressive
- Small, cheap experiments
- Saying “we don’t know yet”
- Writing down what we learn, so others can use it too

The log has what got done each day. The blog has what we read, what we tried, and how it went.
